Born in Anniston, Alabama. Received Masters of Fine Art from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Majored in Painting. Taught at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, University of Akron's School of Art and currently teaches at the Benedict College, Columbia, SC.
